3261843 - SuccessFactors API to generate document using "Document Generation" functionality

You are looking for external APIs from SuccessFactors (SF) to generate documents which are under "Document Generation" functionality in SF Employee Central (EC) area.

Not all SF fields and functionalities are available via API.

The "Document Generation" functionality is an example of functionality that is available via the Application UI but is not available via API.

The MDF object behind this scenario is "DocumentGenerationTemplate", however we do not have API to be used here at this moment.

The only option would be to leverage the MDF object if it is possible.

We are not aware of any plans to make this openly available via external SFSF APIs, so if this is a requirement for the customer, they may request it via enhancement request.
