Symptom

  • RFC server starts successfully the first time
  • RFC is unable to come out of hibernation
  • Batch and Transactional RFC experience shutdown
  • Error: The following JCoRuntimeException was caught in SapMain::statusCheck thread
  • Unable to start the server due to wrong configuration: no successful connection to any gateway could be established
  • Error: The transactional RFC Server on < server name > connected to < SAP SID > has terminated
