Symptom

While searching Inbound Delivery Notification ABC, multiple entries are displayed for different Purchase Orders.

(ABC represents Inbound Delivery Notification ID)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Inbound Logistics work center.
  2. Go to Inbound Delivery Notifications view.
  3. Search for Inbound Delivery Notification ABC.
  4. Notice that the same IDN ID appears for different Purchase Orders.

(ABC represents Inbound Delivery Notification ID)

Cause

  • The Inbound Delivery Notification ID is required to be unique only for the same supplier.
  • Therefore, Same IDN ID can be used when the suppliers are different.

Resolution

 This is expected system behavior.
