1. Go to Recruiting
2. Go to a job requisition
3. Try to edit the information and save the requisition
4. Get the error on a pop-up window

The mfield or the filter field doesn't have a picklist associated in Internal and External Applicant Search Settings page in the internal or the external settings, or both.

As explained on this page of the implementation guide, SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting: Configuring Internal and External Applicant Search Settings, the recommended configuration is to configure the filter and mfield settings both internal and external to avoid issues.

So, to fix the issue, it's required to ensure that the mfield and filter fields are correctly and equally mapped for both internal and external career sites.
