3262342 - When posting GI in the Run Outbound Delivery App an error occurs: Warehouse request X could not be locked


The customer cannot post the Good Issue when trying to do through App Run Outbound Delivery, because an error message "Warehouse request X could not be locked" is displayed on the screen.




There was an error on the EWM side during the processing of the Cancel Goods issue process for delivery. The Cancel Goods Issue was not processed correctly and the delivery on the ECC side was not updated. 

This created an inconsistency between the EWM delivery (cancel goods issue partially processed - delivery locked) and the LE delivery (cancel goods issue not processed - GI status still set to completed).

The root cause for this issue is already fixed and the correction was implemented into the system with HFC05 on September 18th /2022 for further deliveries.


For some specific cases this issue may still happen. If this error occurs in this specific scenario, please raise a ticket to SAP for the component SCM-EWM-DLP. We will be able to correct this specific delivery and post the goods issue for delivery in our side.
