3262380 - Unable to create new delivery type in configuration activity "Define Delivery Types" - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Users are unable to create a new delivery type in Configuration Activity "Define Delivery Types" (ID: 102123). The configuration only allows changes to existing delivery types. The "New Entries" button is not available in this Configuration Activity.

This is by design.

Restrictions have been applied to the underlying customizing view to prevent a cloud customer to create new entries.

Delivery types are tightly linked to multiple other customizing information (Sales Document Types, Item Determination, Copying Control,...) that are not open for customer configuration in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

New delivery types can only be delivered by SAP as part of a new business process, which then includes all the necessary configuration. If there is a demand for a new delivery type, address it via Customer Influence Portal.
