3262478 - How to Enable Tax Exemption Fields

Symptom

Tax Exemption Section is not shown despite Existing in the System.

Environment

 SAP BUSINESS BYDESIGN

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Account Management work center
  2. Access thee Accounts work center view
  3. Search for Account ID XXXX ( Here XXXX refers to the Account ID)
  4. Select the Account and click Edit, then click Financial Data
  5. Navigate to the Tax Data sub-tab
  6. Under the Tax Exemption section, no data is available; additionally, the Add Row and Remove buttons are greyed out.

Cause

The Tax Exemption section is not visible

Resolution

  1. Go to the Account Management work center -Accounts work center view - open the account ID XXXX.  ( Here XXXX refers to the Account ID)
  2. Choose Edit, then select Financial Data
  3. Navigate to the Tax Data sub-tab, click the Profile icon
  4. Go to Key user settings - Adaptation mode
  5. You need to change the settings, so that all fields are visible for the personalization of the user.
  6. You can see  Tax exemptions click on visible option.
  7. Then click on "publish"
  8. Now the tax exemption fields will be available for all users again.
