3262526 - Error :Bank Key Cannot be Converted to Bank Directory Entry UUID While Updating Employee Bank Details

Your requirement is to update the Bank Details for the existing Employee using webservice , but you are receiving the following errors:

Error:Bank key cannot be converted to bank directory entry UUID

 SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Personal Administration work center.
2. Click on the Employee.

3. Locate Employee ID

4. Click on Edit

5. Under Personal Data navigate to Payment Information tab

6. In Field "Bank" use value help for entering bank "XXX" . National Bank code will be fetched "YYY"

In XML which you used , National Bank Code maintained by you is "ZZZ" instead of "YYY" hence below error occurs

"Bank key cannot be converted to bank directory entry UUID"

The cause for this error is that  National bank code should match the Bank ID which you choose.

If you want add bank "XXX" to the employee's payment information it is better to leave out the BankInternalID (or fill it with YYY only).
