3262730 - Error: "Deselecting Buying Center Relationship Types conflicts with productive data"

When trying to scope the questions "Do you want to enable buying center based on business partner relationships?" or "Do you want to enable buying center based on buying center relationships?" the below error is shown:

SAP Cloud For Customer

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Go to Implementation Projects view
3. Select the relevant project and Edit Project Scope
4. Select Next until the 4. Questions
5. Expand Sales -> Account and Activity Management and highlight Account Management
6. Under Buying Center (2) you will see the relevant questions
7. Tick the unticked question to trigger the error. You will also notice that the previously ticked question is now unticked

The two questions, "Do you want to enable buying center based on business partner relationships?" and "Do you want to enable buying center based on buying center relationships?", are mutually exclusive. Only one can be active at any time.
The error message appears as there is already data maintained for whichever of the two questions has to date been in use. It is not possible to fully remove this data from the frontend system.

In the case of a test system, the resolution is to request a new tenant or tenant refresh and configure the required question prior to master data replication.
