Symptom

A single row insert execution time could be randomly slow and varies from a few seconds to a few minutes.
The single row insert is of this form:
insert into Table1 ( col1,col2,col3,col4,col5) values( 'string1','string2','string3','string4','string5' ) 

This execution takes 10 seconds.
Most of the time (8 seconds) is spent between the phases:

  • Time of Complete Call
