3263336 - No Data under Dynamic Group in Story report

Symptom

Some Admin user is unable to see data on Dynamic group table in a Story report.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Report Center as Admin user
  2. Create a new Story report
  3. On the query designer page, add the Dynamic Group table
  4. Click on preview
  5. 'No data' error message or blank fields is displayed

Cause

This behavior occurs due missing permission under 'Manage Role-Based Permission Access'.

Resolution

Enable the 'Role-Based Permission Admin' under 'Manage Role-Based Permission Access' for this user.

Note: This permission is advised to be granted ONLY to Super Admin of the organization as it bring an ability to create/update all permission roles and groups in the instance.
