3263589 - Error “Action failed; error while finishing tasks” Occurs During Cancelling Several Released Production Orders at Same Time.

Symptom

Following error occurs when you are trying to perform cancel action for several released production orders.

"Action failed; error while finishing tasks".

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Production Control Work Center.
  2. Navigate to Production Order View.
  3. Select multiple production orders with Released Status.
  4. Choose Cancel button, then the error occurs.

Cause

It is a known system limitation. Development team is working on it to get it fixed.

Resolution

It is advisable to cancel the Production Orders individually as a workaround before fixed.
