Symptom
After activating a trace via ST05 or ST12 transaction when going to the "Display trace" option the SQL trace (ST05) is empty
In the stderr* file from the instance work directory (usr/sap/<systemid>/<instance number>/ work) the following message appears:
System Trace: version of trace settings in SCSA should be <nr1> but is <nr2>
