3263839 - Not able to release unpacked stock from an outbound delivery in EWM S/4HANA Cloud

You are trying to release unpacked stock from an outbound delivery and an error occurs: Document 'X' (internal GUIDs) could not be read Error in releasing stock for outbound delivery order item 'X'. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Go to APP “Run Outbound Process” and search for the affected delivery;
2. Click on the delivery and then go to picked option;
3. Select the item line and click on "Release Unpacked Stock" button;

Error occurs "Document 'X' (internal GUIDs) could not be read Error in releasing stock for outbound delivery order item 'X'".

 

The delivery has some locking issues after reversing the GI.

The correction for the issue was implemented to your system with HFC05 on the 18th of September. The issue will not occur for further deliveries. Beforehand, it was possible that the PPF actions for the cancel goods issue process for deliveries created before the CE2208 upgrade were not triggered successfully.

 

For some specific cases this issue may still happen. If this error occurs in this specific scenario, please raise a ticket to SAP for the component SCM-EWM-DLP. SAP team can process the PPF entry for the affected deliveries, then you should be able to process the delivery again.
