Symptom
- Updated Default Settings for Reset Password Messages.
- How to enable automatic email notifications for account users.
- Popup messages that appear when you reset the password for login accounts. You can reset passwords of login accounts under Admin Center -> Manage Login Accounts.

Resolution
Pre-requisite:
Enable the Password Changed Notification -> email template under Admin Center -> Email Notification Templates Settings.
Enable the Administrator Permissions -> Manage User -> Manage Login Accounts permission.
Scenarios:
- You're trying to reset account password for a single user.

- Go to Manage Login Accounts -> Enter the name or person ID or Enter login name
- Select account status and click on reset password

- You've selected the Use a system generated password option.
Expected Behaviour (post 2H 2022 release): The Send email notification to the account user option is now automatically enabled and the ability to change the setting is disabled.

You've selected the Use a system generated password option.
Expected Behavior (post 2H 2022 release): The Send email notification to the account user option is now automatically enabled and the ability to change the setting is disabled. Previously, the Send email notification to the account user option was unselected by default.
3. You're trying to reset account password for a single user.
Go to Manage Login Accounts -> Enter the name or person ID or Enter login name
Select account status and click on reset password.
You've selected the Use a supplied password option:
Expected Behavior (post 2H 2022 release):
Asterisks are now added to the New Password and Confirm Password fields, indicating that they’re required fields. The Send email notification to the account user is now selected by default.
Previously, the Send email notification to the account user was unselected by default.

Expected Behavior (post 2H 2022 release):
If you uncheck the “Send email notification to the account user “an alert message pop up will appear that if you unselect this option, users can’t receive a reset password link to log in to the system.

5. You're trying to reset account password for a single/ multiple users and you have NOT enabled the Password Changed Notification email template under Admin Center -> Email Notification Templates Settings.
You have selected the Use a system generated password option.
Below alert message will pop up to enable the password changed notification email notification template from admin center.
