3265090 - HiringNotCompleted flag is still set to true although employee is fully hired in EC - Onboarding

Employees which were onboarded through Manage Pending Hires and is showing active in both EC and UDF. However, their HiringNotCompleted flag is set to true instead of false. 

1. Go to Data Inspector
2. Entity: Table_EMP_EMPLOYMENT_INFO
3. Criteria to use is User Sys ID
4. Validate that the Hiring Not Completed value is still set to 1
5. Go to Manage Data >> Process
6. Search with user id of the candidate
7. Hire Status is Hired/Recruited, which means Manage pending hire/recruit has been completed

• We previously had a known issue which has been fixed by the engineering team and the patch is added to the preview and production code.
• The flag can be corrected when Manage Pending Hire (MPH) is completed through the MPH page or when the Pending Hire is completed through Automatic Hire.
• If the HiringNotCompleted flag remains true after completion through one of these supported processes, the issue can be addressed through the approved script execution.
• If the Hire Status or related process object values were manually modified, the scenario is considered outside the supported flow and the script will not be executed.

• A support ticket should be created for component LOD-SF-OBX-EC to validate the hiring flow and the current status of the HiringNotCompleted flag.
• The Support Team should first confirm that the Pending Hire was completed through either:
  • Manage Pending Hire (MPH) page, or
  • Automatic Hire.
• If the supported hiring process was completed and the HiringNotCompleted flag is still set to true, the assigned team can raise an Ops Ticket for the approved script execution to correct the flag.
• The script is applicable only when the hiring process was completed through the supported flow. If any manual changes were made to the Hire Status or process object, the script will not be executed.

Note to Customers/Partners

Please follow the standard Onboarding hiring process and ensure that candidates are successfully hired through Manage Pending Hire or Automatic Hire. Avoid manually modifying the Hire Status or related process object values, as such changes can affect downstream processing and may result in scenarios that are not supported by the standard hiring flow.

Note for the Support Team

Before requesting script execution, verify that the Pending Hire was completed through the MPH page or Automatic Hire and that no manual changes were made to the Hire Status or relevant process object. The script should only be requested when these conditions are met and the HiringNotCompleted flag remains true.
