3265384 - Standard elements introduced in 2H 2022 Release not available in Manage Business Configuration

• Unable to see Pronouns, Assignment Display Header or General Display Name in BCUI;
• Customer is expecting to see these standard fields in Manage Business Configuration as per the new release items but it is not available.

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

• Go to Manage Business Configuration;
• Navigate to Employee Profile -> Standard;
• Notice that the new standards fields are not listed.

Refresh BCUI job need to be triggered by Succession Data Model upload.

From the 1H 2023 the Synchronize Business Configuration job can be triggered via Scheduled Job Manager in Admin Center. 

Earlier, on adding new standard elements (for example, Display Name), these elements weren’t automatically displayed in the Business Configuration. To synchronize the data model for these elements to be displayed in Business Configuration, you had to export and reimport the Succession Data Model in Provisioning.

Going forward, you can select the type of data model, which is either Succession Data Model or Country/Region Specific Succession Data Model, to execute synchronization in the Scheduled Job Manager. After the data model and Business Configuration sync, the new fields are available in Business Configuration.

Prior to the 1H 2023 Release, you must export and reimport the Succession Data Model in Provisioning.
Provisioning access is only available to Partners, if you do not have a Partner you can request Support to perform the task.

Note for Support team: the below tasks only can be done with the approval from the customer. 

1. Access provisioning;
2. Click on Import/Export Data Model;
3. Select Export File and submit;
4. Once exported you now need to re-import it straight away without any changes;
5. Select Import File -> choose File to select the file you just exported;
6. Add comment;
7. Click submit;
8. Wait few second for the import successful message.

Once done, you can log in and open Manage Business Configuration where the fields will be available now.
