Symptom

  • Job alerts are created without any search criteria on the Category Pages.
  • Error is not happening "You must provide either a Keyword or Location, or both." 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing

Cause

This is working as expected.

Resolution

  • This is the expected system behavior for Category pages as search criteria is already saved on the category pages.
  • The category page is based on a rule to show a certain type of jobs which will work as the search criteria.
