3266346 - Rating Scale Label Changes Do Not Reflect on Performance Forms

After updating rating scale labels, the changes are not reflected on performance forms (sample label is in red box).

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

1. Admin Tools > Rating Scale Designer
2. Select rating scale
3. Select language from dropdown > Change rating labels > Save
4. Review live forms but rating labels do not reflect updates

OR

1. Admin Tools > Rating Scale Designer
2. Select rating scale
3. Select language from dropdown > Change rating labels > Save
4. Launch new forms but rating labels do not reflect updates

• Live forms: Expected behavior
• Newly launched forms:
  • The user language has not been changed
  • A different rating scale is tied to the performance form from the rating scale that was updated

I. Live forms

After changes have been made to rating scale labels, the changes will not reflect in live forms. New forms will need to be launched to see the updated labels.

II. Newly launched forms

1. User Language: If the person viewing the labels is using the English US locale, rating scale labels will show the ones defined for English US. Change the user locale to the same one updated in Rating Scale Designer:
   1. Click on picture in upper right-hand corner > Settings
   2. Change Language > Select language you expect to see a translation for > Switch
   3. Open the performance form and rating scale label will reflect in user's language
2. Confirm rating scale in performance template matches rating scale that was updated:
   1. Admin Tools > Manage Templates
   2. Performance Review tab > select performance form template
   3. General Settings > Rating Scale
   4. Change to Rating Scale that was recently updated > Save
   5. Launch new forms to see updated rating labels
