3266491 - Job scheduled but not released in SOLMAN_SETUP - SAP Solution Manager

Symptom

  • Cannot schedule jobs as planned on SOLMAN_SETUP > Basic Configuration > Schedule Jobs step:

   Job SM:* scheduled, but could not be released

  • on SM37: current status is "Scheduled"
  • Wen trying to release job on SM37, no error is displayed, but status remains "scheduled"
  • SM21 show error:

   Bckgrnd def.srvr grp SAP_DEFAULT_BTC does not contain any active bckgrnd srvrs
