You have some doubts about Batch management behaviors in the cloud.

Condition Tables

When creating condition tables to determine batches in S/4HANA Cloud then the selectable key fields for a new condition table are restricted to the fields pre-delivered by SAP. It is not possible for the customer to add further fields to the list of selectable key fields.

When creating condition tables to determine batches for Inventory Management the following fields can be selected as key fields:

BWART - Movement Type
KUNNR - Customer
LGORT - Storage Location
LIFNR - Supplier
MATKL - Material Group
MATNR - Material
MTART - Material Type
SOBKZ - Special Stock
WERKS - Plant

When creating condition tables to determine batches for Production the following fields can be selected as key fields:

AUART - Order Type
BWTAR - Valuation Type
MATNR - Material
PMATN - Material
PWERK - Planning Plant
WERKS - Plant

When creating condition tables to determine batches for Sales and Distribution the following fields can be selected as key fields:

AUART - Order Type
AUART_SD - Sales Document Type
BWTAR - Valuation Type
CITYC - City Code
COUNC - County Code
KDGRP - Customer Group
KNDNR - Customer
KUNRE - Bill-to Party
KUNWE -  Ship-to Party
LAND1 - Dest. Country/Region
LGORT - Storage Location
MATKL - Material Group

PROD_HIER_NODE - Product Hierarchy Node

Product Hierarchy

Please note that the product hierarchy that is assigned in the material master is not supported in the cloud. Instead a new product hierarchy based on the Universal Hierarchy Framework (UHF) is available.

Therefore the fields PRODHIER(x) are no longer available in the S/4HANA Cloud Edition. The batch determination in the cloud can select batch based on the new field PROD_HIER_NODE (Product Hierarchy Node) with table 009.
