Symptom

For any product, in its master data, there are three kinds of UoM: Base UoM, Inventory Valuation UoM and Planning UoM. You wonder which UoM system will propose in the common task New Removal.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to work center Internal Logistics.
  2. Open common task New Removal.
  3. Enter product ABC (ABC represents the product ID) in Product ID, click Go.
  4. In the below, enter any quantity in Removal Quantity, press Enter on your keyboard, system proposes an UoM.

You wonder which UoM it is, Base UoM, Inventory Valuation or Planning UoM?

Resolution

System proposes Base UoM here, but you can change it to other kinds of UoM manually.
