3268152 - SAP Analytics Cloud - Horizontal bar scroll id added when expanding story/analytical application right aligned filter and its affecting user experience.

When user selects page filter from right side panel, a horizontal scroll bar is added (on opening of the filter dropdown) to the canvas and it affects user experience and is not able to make the selection. 

If the browser window zoom level is changed (e.g. from 100% to 90%; 80% to 75%) it works, but on subsequent opening of dropdown the issue occurs again.

The same filter issue can be reproduced on Analytical Application or simple story.

1. Open your story/AD
2. Expand the node filter of a right aligned filter selection
3. Note that the filter expansion will add a scroll bar and the window display will 'cut' the filter values, so you won't be able to see the available names completely.

The hierarchical filter in the non-optimized stories do not work well with deep/big hierarchies. 

Turning the story/AD to OVM solves the issue as the hierarchical filter in the optimized story works quite a bit better with hierarchies.

In case OVM cannot be turned on due to unsupported features, a possible workaround could be moving the filters to the left side of the story/AD.
