3268817 - Timeslice error in khashtable_writelock(). - SAP ASE

Symptom

  •  ASE errorlog contains a timeslice error in the function khashtable_writelock() with a stack trace:

timeslice -1501, current process infected at 0x22a4960 (khashtable_writelock+0x260)

  • It is followed by a message:

Listener with protocol tcp, host <host_name>, port 3001 has been terminated due to timeslice error. You can start a new listener on the same port. 

  • Stack trace contains the following functions:
