3268872 - Error "Vertex Error: AUTHENTICATION FAILED" When Invoicing a Document

When trying to Invoice an Invoice Request, you receive the following errors:

 -Vertex Error: AUTHENTICATION FAILED
 -Error during calculation of price and tax

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Customer Invoicing work center.
2. Open the Invoice Requests view.
3. Find Invoice Request ABC (Where ABC Represents the ID of the Invoice Request).
4. Highlight the desired Invoice Request.
5. Click on the Invoice button.

 In the New Invoice screen, you see errors 'Error during calculation of price and tax' and 'Vertex Error: AUTHENTICATION FAILED'.

This error is caused due to an outdated Avalara password.

In order to solve this, please update your Avalara password and maintain the new password in the system.
