3268952 - SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE failed error but RFC connection test sometimes works - Netweaver

Symptom

  • DB13 fails with below error 

      SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE failed for <BR*TOOLS> - Reason: program_start_error: For More Information, See SYS

      Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE

  • But SM59 > TCP/IP Connections > SAPXPG_DBDEST_<SAPDBHOST> RFC connection test sometimes works.
  • RZ11 parameter SAPDBHOST or system > status shows DB host is <SAPDBHOST>.
