3268994 - IG-41538: The purchase order with taxes failed in SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network

Symptom

The buyer is on an SAP Business Network account integrated with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA using SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network. Previously, the buyer created a purchase order (OrderRequest) with taxes in SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA and sent it to SAP Business Network. When the purchase order was sent from SAP Business Network to the supplier in the EDI format using SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network, the purchase order failed in SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network with the following error:

EDI Schema Validation Failed. Suggested Action : Please check the attachment for Validation details.

The logs displayed the following message:

Data element is too long.
