3268994 - IG-41538: The purchase order with taxes failed in SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway

Symptom

The buyer is on an SAP Business Network account integrated with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA using SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway. Previously, the buyer created a purchase order (OrderRequest) with taxes in SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA and sent it to SAP Business Network. When the purchase order was sent from SAP Business Network to the supplier in the EDI format using SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway, the purchase order failed in SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway with the following error:

EDI Schema Validation Failed. Suggested Action : Please check the attachment for Validation details.

The logs displayed the following message:

Data element is too long.
