3269147 - Unable to Add an Extension Field From an Expense Report Into the Expense Report App

Symptom

An extension field from an expense report shall be added to the expense report app.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Resolution

The extension fields, which are defined for the desktop expense report application, can be brought into the mobile app by opening the key user view of the app in the browser using the following URL:


XXX.sapbydesign.com/sap/public/ap/ui/repository/SAP_UI/HTMLOBERON5/client.html?sapbyd-agent=MBLHTML

(XXX has to be replaced by your system URL, e.g. my123456)


There it is possible to add or change fields in a similar manner as for the desktop application. If a field has already been added to the desktop application, it should be offered here for adding it to the mobile screen as well. Please note that not all the screens in mobile app allow the user to add extension field like Manager Approval. It is the system designed behalf that in some screens, the extension field button is missing or the control pannel of extension field is blank.
