3269187 - Custom Gender Field is not Flowing from RCM to Onboarding

Symptom

We have created the custom gender field in RCM, when sending values such as Female/Male over to Onboarding value appears below the box.

  • SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding
  • SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management 
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Initiate Onboarding From RCM
  2. Navigate to Onboarding 
  3. When completing the New Hire Data Review
  4. Notice Male is appearing below the input box

Cause

Incorrect value is sent from RCM

Resolution

  1. Navigate to PickList Center 
  2. Find the Gender picklist you're using 
  3. Ensure both label and External Code are a single character value . For example - "F" as label and External Code. Label should NOT be "Female".

  4. Same for other gender values also. Both the label and External Code should be "F, M, U, D, O"
  5. Once you correct the picklist, issue will be resolved.
