3269403 - '500 Connection timed out' error in SAP Cloud Integration


When trying to connect the SAP Cloud Integration to On-premise system (ERP) using SAP Cloud Connector, the following error appears:

  • org.apache.cxf.interceptor.Fault: Response was of unexpected text/html ContentType.  Incoming portion of HTML stream: <html><head><title>Application Server Error</title></head><body>
    <H2>500 Connection timed out</H2><br>

Note: ICM trace (on-premise side) can show the following error during the connection with Cloud Integration or Cloud Connector:

  • IcmConnTimeOut: CONNECTION (id=0/75364) timed out (ICM processing timeout=60)
