In an environment of Solution Manager 7.2 SP15 where you are running more than one instance you notice that one or more of the instances fail to show Host Agent status in Agent Administration. The Action Center in Agent Administration may also fail.
In the developer traces (located at >> /usr/sap/<SID>/<instance>j2ee/cluster/server0/log/default trace), you notice errors referencing Host Agent status and JNDI:

[EXCEPTION] com.sap.smd.server.manager.SMDException: Shared Data Manager was not created
com.sap.engine.services.jndi.persistent.exceptions720.JNDIException: Parent context [/webContainer/applications/<vendor name>/<application name>] of the object [<root context>] is not found during createSubcontext operation
*This issue has been identified as a problem once upgrading to Solution Manager SP15, however if similar errors are presented in the defaultTrace file mentioning "JNDIException", please follow the resolution in this KBA.
