Symptom

The installation of S/4HANA 2022 fails on RHEL 8, and installation logs show any of the following errors:

rsecssfx/rsecssfx: /lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.26' not found 

/usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/uc/linuxx86_64/sapstartsrv: /lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.26' not found (required by /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/uc/linuxx86_64/sapstartsrv)
