Symptom

  • Logs in Cloud Logging Service (CLS) need to be filtered by field values (e.g. API service).
  • Many fields are referred to as unknown, and the following messages may be observed:
    • No cached mapping for this field. 
    • Unknown field. 
    • Field doesn't match any options.
