3269959 - Cannot Create An Outgoing Delivery for External Logistics of Consignment Type

Symptom

You cannot use the API Outbound Delivery Execution In to create an outgoing delivery for external logistics of Consignment type.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Cause

  1. Third-party order processing combined with consignment is not supported.
  2. Consignment in inter-company process with the receiving company managed in SAP Business ByDesign is not supported. This is because the receiving site in SAP Business ByDesign cannot support externally-owned stock. Consignment can be used in inter-company process where the receiving company is not managed in SAP Business ByDesign.
