3270331 - Scoping of Opportunity Sales Assistant: Error "Value 001 is missing in Sales Cycle Phase. Restore value before finish scoping"

 While scoping the Opportunity feature 'Sales Assistant', you get the error "Value 001 is missing in Sales Cycle Phase. Restore value before finish scoping" (001 - 006) and are not able to conclude/ finish the scoping.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Business Configuration work centre
2. Go to the Implementation Projects view
3. Select the relevant project
4. Navigate to step 4., Questions
5. Expand: Sales > New Business and select Opportunities.
6. Find 'Sales Methodology' and select the question: "Would you like to use a sales assistant that proposes activities that you have to do in a certain phase of your opportunity?"
7. Finish the scoping.

Result: You are not able to finish scoping and instead get the error: "Value 001 is missing in Sales Cycle Phase. Restore value before finish scoping" (001 - 006 respectively).

You have replaced all standard Sales Cycle Phases with custom versions. The standard Sales Cycle Phases need to be restored for the feature to be scoped.

It is required to restore the standard values 001 - 006 in Business Configuration activity Sales before being able to scope the feature. You will be able to add z-phases afterward, but the standard is required to be available in the system for the feature to be scoped.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center
2. Go to the Overview view
3. Search for the Fine Tuning Activity: Sales Cycles and Phases
4. Open the activity
5. Click Maintain Sales Cycles / Maintain Sales Phases
6. Click Restore Defaults
7. The Restore option will show values from 001 to 006
8. Select the entries
9. Click Restore
10. Click Save.

After adjusting this, you can perform the scoping again and shouldn't face the errors again.
