3270563 - Archiving Records Older than 24 Months feature - onboarding 1.0

Symptom

The archiving records older than 24 Months feature will be available in the 2H 2022 release.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0

Resolution

  1. What retention options do we have that are greater/less than 24 months?
    • Inactive records, that are older than 24 months, will be archived automatically to improve system performance.
    • Be aware that 24 months is the default archiving period, and it's possible to specify the archiving period in months, as there is no specific limit on the number.
    • If necessary to update the period of retention for the archiving, please reach out to SAP SuccessFactors Cloud Product Support in SAP for Me via SAP Expert Chat or Support case for this request.
  2. How often does the archiving occur? 
    • The Archiving it's scheduled to run every weekend, and it archives records during non-business hours (11PM – 5AM).
  3. Is it the same with cancelling?
    • The archiving action, it's not the same as canceling or deleting permanently a record activity. 
    • The new function will only archive the completed activities, and it will be removed from the work queue.
    • And also, the onboardingCandidateInfo (OCI) and documents will not be affected as well.
