3271020 - Return to Supplier Lifecycle Status Not Updated to Finished

You expect the lifecycle status of a return to supplier to be Finished, but it remains as In Process or Released.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center
2. Go to Return to Suppliers view
3. Open return to supplier ABC (ABC refers to the document ID)
4. You see the lifecycle status is unexpected

In order to finish a return to supplier, you need to maintain the Follow-up decision and complete the outbound delivery process for each of the return to supplier items.

If you only maintained Follow-up decision, but have not started outbound delivery process, the lifecycle status of the return to supplier remains as In Process.

If you only completed the outbound delivery process, but have not maintained the Follow-up decision, the lifecycle status of the return to supplier remains as Released, with a task "Provide Follow-Up Decision in Return to Supplier ABC".

Please maintain the Follow-up decision or complete the outbound delivery process accordingly.
