3273675 - Unable to Add an Approver When Creating a Purge Request- DRTM

When creating a purge request, the system does not allow a user to be added as the request approver.

• SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Go to: Data Retention Management
2. Select: Create New Purge Request
3. Select a Purge Request Type according to your requirement
4. Define the Purge Rule as necessary
5. Add an approver > there's no user to be selected

The user does not have the required permissions to be an approver.

If the user doesn't have these permissions, they won't be able to be added as an approver.

In order to add a user as the approver of a purge request, it's required for them to have the following RBP permissions:

• Manage and Approve DRTM Data Purge Request; and
• Manage and Approve Legacy Data Purge Request

The permission required depends on the purge request type you are creating: the legacy purge or the DRTM purge.

After granting the RBP permission, they should be able to be added as approver.
