While using Instance Synchronization tool to copy over permission roles, the following error occurs: "A System Error has occurred please contact your admin for more details.The following error occurred:An Internal Server Error Occurred , Please try again later"
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Cause
SOURCE and TARGET systems are on different versions.
Resolution
This is an expected behavior due to version mismatch; black out period is the time where Production and Preview data centers are on different release versions.
During this time, the following artifacts are not allowed to be synced until both SOURCE and TARGET instances are on the same version:
- RBP Permission Role
- Foundation Object > Dynamic Role
- Foundation Object > Position Dynamic Role
Please wait until post production release to perform this sync, so it will work successfully.
