3274507 - Lock error during consistency check of Production Model

Symptom

While checking a consistency check for a production model KLM we experience the other selected production model  DEF become locked for a period of time. *KLM refers to Production Model 1, KLM refers to Production Model 2

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data Work Center
  2. Go to Production Models View
  3. From drop-down select Recently Viewed
  4. Select any Production Model KLM
  5. Click edit
  6. Click Check Consistency
  7. Now Immediately in the other screen, Select any Production Model DEF
  8. Click edit
  9. Click Check Consistency
  10. Error triggers

Object currently locked by; try again later

Resolution

As a workaround we would request you to open one Production Model at a time to avoid locking issue.
