Symptom

How do I upload an image to use in a Process Documentation template if my file storage has been disabled?

Environment

SAP Signavio Process Manager 3.0

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Explorer
  2. Create a new process documentation template in Editor
  3. Add an image element to the template.
  4. Open the attributes panel.
  5. Select the image icon in the template.
  6. See the image attributes appear in the panel.
  7. Click on the image attribute to add an image
  8. See the add image dialog box.
  9. Notice that the upload image option is greyed out.

Resolution

Although you cannot upload an image to add to your documentation template, you can add an image to the image attribute if has already been uploaded to the Shared folder.
