3275297 - Document Generation - File Name Format

You would like to customize the file name format upon downloading documents via Document Generation (Employee Self Service (ESS) and Admin Scenarios).

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Document Generation

1. Generate a Document via ESS or Admin page
2. Download the file
3. The file name format is in EENAME_DocumentName_Date

This is currently expected system behavior. At the moment, the file name format for downloaded documents cannot be customized.

NOTE:

• General Display Name format has been adapted for this feature since 2H 2022 release. 
• General Display Name is universal from 1H 2025 release.
