3276441 - Actual Cost Rollup Run Failed With Error Messages: Cost Center Has No Cost

You are receiving an error message while executing Actual Cost Rollup Run.

Error: Cost Center XYZ has no Cost(XYZ represent Cost center ID).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Inventory Valuation work center.
2. Go to the Periodic Tasks > Acutal Cost Rollup view.
3. Show All Runs and find the Run ID ABC(ABC represents the Run ID).
4. Select the Run ABC and navigate to the Log Result.
5. Open the Log and navigate to the Messages tab.
6. Message 'Cost center XYZ has no cost' is displayed (XYZ represent Cost center ID).

The issue here is that there has already been an Allocation run DEF against this cost center XYZ(DEF represents the Actual Cost Allocation Run ID). You can see this in the Cost Centers - Line Items report if you add the views "Business Transaction Type" and "Source Doc. ID".

Steps:

1. Go to Cost and Revenue work center.
2. Go to Reports > List view.
3. Select and open the Cost Centers - Line Items report.
4. Enter Cost Center XYZ.
5. Navigate to the View tab.
6. Add views "Business Transaction Type" and "Source Doc. ID".
7. You can see that there has already been an Allocation run DEF against this cost center XYZ.

System works as designed. Once an allocation run has been posted against a Cost Center, it can't be reprocessed.
