3276820 - E-Mail Notification for Purchase Order Approval Work Flow Triggered Multiple Times for the Same User

You have defined the workflow rules for purchase order. When the Approval Status is changed from In Approval to Approved, system has triggered the E-Mail notifications multiple times to the same user.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center
2. Go to Purchase Orders view 
3. Select the relevant Purchase order
4. Change the Approval Status from In Approval to Approved
5. System creates multiple E-Mail notifications to the same user

You have maintained multiple E-Mail address at several places. For example, at business partner him/herself, as employee workplace address, as a service performer in the business partner etc. All together, this results in multiple E-Mails being sent to the same email address.

E-Mail address are maintained for the same responsible person at multiple places hence when ever you do the changes to the orders, system will check the rules maintained in the workflows and trigger multiple emails. Kindly avoid maintaining E-Mail ID multiple times for the same business user.
