3277223 - Error 632 with appnd_pgcomp_row() in stacktrace on APL table without compression - SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • An uncompressed APL table is replicated.
  • ASE is incorrectly identifying this page as compressed when it is not.  
  • ASE reports Error 632 with a stack trace:

       Error: 632, Severity: 20, State: 2
       Attempt to move memory with an incorrect length of 18761. Maximum allowed length is 16384.

  • Stack trace includes functions:

       memmove_error
       appnd_pgcomp_row
       row_delete
       def_delete
       dodeferred
       exec_ri_deferred
