3277827 - No RFC User error on Maintain RFCs step - SAP Solution Manager

Symptom

  • "No RFC User" error on Maintain RFCs step in the Managed System Configuration for BACK RFC
  • The user exists on Solution Manager System
  • Connection test in SM59 of back RFC from managed system to Solution Manager is successful
  • When the username was modified to a different name, the following additional symptoms might appear:
    • Step is showing incorrect BACK user name
    • For testing purposes BACK RFC user was manually adjusted on the destination via SM59, but it is not reflecting on Maintain RFCs step
