3278124 - Wrong user is assigned as operator in a Job Requisition created from Position - RCM/EC

A position was modified with an effective date in the future (e.g. the date today is July 1st, 2020 and the effective date is January 1st, 2021). When creating a job requisition from Position Org Chart, the data that has been altered is not mapping correctly, it's still pulling the old data instead of the value effective as of January 1st, 2021.

The job requisition is created as of now, which means that it will take the currently value. As the effective date is in the future, that value only will be valid for the position to requisition field mapping rule once the date is reached.

This is a system expected behavior as the business rule will take the current valid value. There are 2 solutions for this case:

• Manually alter the value in the job requisition
• Create the job requisition for a future date, created after the effective date is reached so that then the requisition will contain the valid value. This process is explained here: 3033829 - How to create Job Requisition from future dated Position - Recruiting Management.
