3278560 - Restriction of Read and Write Access Against Common Task Stock Overview Doesn't Work for Business User .

You have several sites in the system, and you want to make the stock of some of them visible for a business user. You have set corresponding access restrictions for the business user, but he/she can still see stock of all sites.

 SAP Business ByDesign

Logon system as key user.

1. Go to work center Application and User Management.
2. Open view Business Users.
3. Find business user USER_A (USER_A represents the user ID), click Edit - Access Rights.
4. Select tab Access Restrictions, select view Stock Overview under work center Outbound Logistics Control, in the below only tick Read Access and Write Access for site SITE_A (Site_A represents site ID).
5. For all work center views whose Access Context is 1008 - Site, make same setting: only tick Read Access and Write Access for site SITE_A.

Logon system as business user USER_A.

1. Go to work center Outbound Logistics.
2. Open common task Stock Overview.
3. Display complete result, stock of all sites is visible.

Since this user has access to below work center views under work center "Planning and Production Master Data", he/she can still see stock of all sites:

• Forecasting Groups
• Planning Groups
• Production Groups
• Storage Groups

Please take below steps:

1. Go to work center Application and User Management.
2. Open view Business Users.
3. Find business user USER_A (USER_A represents the user ID), click Edit - Access Rights.
4. Select tab Work Center and View Assignment, expand work center "Planning and Production Master Data", in the below untick below views:

• Forecasting Groups
• Planning Groups
• Production Groups
• Storage Groups

     5. Click Save.
