Symptom

  • Adding a second single instance database to logical cluster
  • Fails with message 16857

    sp_cluster logical, "add", "SIC_Logical" , "database", "Single_DB2"

    Msg: 16857, Level: 16, State: 1
    Database: 'Single_DB' can't be bound to single instance logical cluster: 'SIC_Logical'. At most 1 databases allowed to be bound.
