3281402 - Opportunity - Weighted Value not Getting Calculated

Symptom

Despite expected value and probability being maintained in opportunities, the "Weighted value" is not getting calculated - it stays at 0.
Query: How does the weighted value get calculated, and how do we trigger this to happen manually?

Environment

SAP Sales Cloud 2.0

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Guided Selling view
  2. Create a new opportunity
  3. Maintain Probability and Expected Value
  4. Save and Open 
  5. Expand the header > Pipeline Details

Result: the Weighted Value field is empty.  

Resolution

Calculation for 'Weighted Value': weighted value =  expected value *  probability/100
